Our mission
Motherhood reshapes women – beautifully, profoundly, and at times, painfully.
Every experience leaves its mark, each like a crack in pottery. Inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, we honor these cracks as symbols of strength, resilience, and beauty.
Kindsugi gives the friends and family around each mom the tools to confidently offer meaningful postpartum support. Our carefully curated postpartum gift boxes, contain essentials, made by moms, for mom’s recovery.
Mothers shouldn’t have to heal alone. And no one should struggle to show they care.
Our beginnings
It all started, like most companies do, with a problem.
Baby showers are overflowing with gifts for the baby. Boutiques, stores and online shops are bursting with things for them, but when I wanted to get something for the brand new mom in my life, I came up empty handed.
I felt beyond frustrated and heartbroken when I realized how little fourth trimester support is out there and how many women believe accepting care somehow means they aren't strong.
Kindsugi was born out of a determination to change how we view and treat postpartum, to honor and care for mothers the way they deserve and to push back on a society that thinks mothers should recover quickly, without complaint.

Rosetulips
RoseTulips’s vision is to be more than a tea company, it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace self-love. Motherhood is the most profound love I have ever known—fierce, all-encompassing, and beautifully selfless. But I also realized that to give my baby the care and devotion it deserves, I must take care of myself first. It’s in those quiet moments, with a warm cup of tea in hand, that I can recharge and pour from a fuller cup. At RoseTulips, I pour my heart into creating blends that honor and support mothers during this incredible journey. Whether it’s soothing the body after birth or providing a calming moment amidst the chaos of new life, these teas are here to remind every mother of her own strength, beauty, and worth.
How About Mom
How About Mom was created to provide essential support for mothers during pregnancy and their first year of motherhood. Frederieke and Anna, both mothers of two, noticed the absence of resources supporting maternal health and addressing the real, often uncomfortable aspects of motherhood, both physically and emotionally. Inspired to develop an app offering reliable information, honest stories and daily inspiration for mothers, they've created a space where mothers can find answers and support. How About Mom works with over 50 medical experts to provide accurate, practical advice. The app helps mothers navigate the complexities of early motherhood, answering questions like “Is it normal that…?” It also encourages open discussions about postpartum recovery, mental health, and other often-taboo topics. How about mom’s mission is to ensure that mothers feel seen and supported, with access to resources that promote their well-being.
PrettyMum
As a proud mom of two sons, breastfeeding was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, but I quickly realized there was a lack of comfortable and functional nursing wear, so I created PrettyMum. PrettyMum was born in 2000, making it one of the first online stores in the Netherlands dedicated to pregnant and breastfeeding moms. As an active volunteer with “Vereniging Borstvoeding Natuurlijk,” I led informational meetings for expecting and new parents and learned that many mothers shared my struggles with breastfeeding. PrettyMum was created to make breastfeeding easier for mothers by providing the right tools and guidance. Motherhood transformed my career, taking me from a Film/TV producer to running one of the first maternity and nursing webshops. At PrettyMum, we aim to offer moms the comfort, support, and confidence they need during their breastfeeding journey and beyond.
