Our mission

Motherhood reshapes women – beautifully, profoundly, and at times, painfully.

Every experience leaves its mark, each like a crack in pottery. Inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, we honor these cracks as symbols of strength, resilience, and beauty.

Kindsugi gives the friends and family around each mom the tools to confidently offer meaningful postpartum support. Our carefully curated postpartum gift boxes, contain essentials, made by moms, for mom’s recovery.

Mothers shouldn’t have to heal alone. And no one should struggle to show they care.

Our beginnings

It all started, like most companies do, with a problem.

Baby showers are overflowing with gifts for the baby. Boutiques, stores and online shops are bursting with things for them, but when I wanted to get something for the brand new mom in my life, I came up empty handed.

I felt beyond frustrated and heartbroken when I realized how little fourth trimester support is out there and how many women believe accepting care somehow means they aren't strong.

Kindsugi was born out of a determination to change how we view and treat postpartum, to honor and care for mothers the way they deserve and to push back on a society that thinks mothers should recover quickly, without complaint.
